10 Albums To Listen To At Night

I love listening to music at night. I’m not sure why exactly, but I guess when you’re in the dark, possible getting quite tired or feeling at your most vulnerable point of the day, some of the songs and lyrics we listen to can be even clearer or hit us harder. There are no distractions. That’s why I like to listen to albums for the first time at the end of the day, making sure to do it again in the morning in case I miss anything, but when you only have the music to focus on you feel it more.

I talk a lot about ‘night time’ albums. I’m not sure quite how to describe what makes an album a ‘night time’ album to me, so I decided to choose 10 of my favourite ‘night time’ albums for you to see. This doesn’t mean I only listen to these albums in the night, but sometimes they hit harder in the night for me.

Of course, these are not the only albums I feel fit this list, there were many others I cut out, but these are the ones I probably come back to the most.
